K2DE BIOGRAPHY
Jim was first licensed in 1992 as a no-code Technician and rapidly worked his way up to Extra class. He is most interested in chasing DX on 80-6 meters SSB/CW. He is also an active ARRL VE.
Active in a variety of shooting sports, he is also an active Freemason. Jim has coached baseball with the North Howell Little League for the last 8 years, where he serves on the Board of Directors as Safety Officer. He has been married to his lovely wife Eleanore since 1986 and they have two sons: Peter 16, and Michael 12.
Jim is a licensed physician in private practice in Edison, NJ. He graduated from medical school in 1983, completed his Internal Medicine residency in 1986, during which he served as Chief Resident and completed a fellowship in Nephrology in 1988. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, and was inducted a Fellow of the American College of Physicians in 1997. Very active in teaching, he holds a faculty position at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School as an Associate Professor on Clinical Medicine. He is also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Rutgers College of Pharmacy.
